It’s GLAM time.
Celebrate prom in pure glam fashion with celebrity-inspired waves and color.
You worked hard all year long, and now it’s time to party! Prom essentials include: a stunning dress; a vibrant floral corsage; a gentlemanly date; and to top it all off, the perfect crowning glory. Try out this soft, shiny, wavy look with layers to accentuate your own, unique facial features, and highlights for an unexpected pop of color. To create this look, we used Outre’s Simply Brazilian Hair (Style: Natural Wave; Length: 18” and 20”) and Simply Brazilian Lace Closure.

*Note: Hair was bleached to create this gorgeous honey blonde ombre coloration.
What you will need:
- Simply Natural Wave 20”
- Simply Natural Wave 18”
- Simply Lace Closure 16”
- Flat Iron
- Shears
- Heat Protectant Spray
- Moroccan/Argan Oil
Step 1:
Begin by taking a section of the hair from the right side of the head, and curl it outwards with a flat iron to create a flipped out style. Then, take another section of hair and repeat.
*Quick Tip – Don’t forget to use a Heat Protectant Spray before using a heat tool!
Step 2:
Repeat Step 1 on the left side of the mannequin head. Once completed, both sides of the wig should be curled as pictured.
Step 3:
Section the top as shown, and starting with the lower section, loosely curl 3~4” of the ends of the longer layer. Then, release the top, and loosely curl the ends of the shorter layer.
*Quick Tip – To create a natural looking S curl, you can also use a curling wand.
Step 4:
After curling, trim the front fringe at an angle beginning at the chin, so that it frames your face perfectly. Do the same for the other side.
Step 5:
Lastly, smooth out the hair around the top area to finish the style.
Final Look:
Apply a small amount of Moroccan/Argan oil in the palm of your hand, rub your hands together, and gently spread it throughout the hair for a polished finish. Now, you’re ready to make a PROM GLAM SLAM!
