Style of the Month: Rocker Edge Bob

We’re loving the hot summery nights of June. And we think this Rocker Edge Bob is the perfect style to keep you looking & feeling cool all month long. Cut short above the shoulders, this style lets the nape of your neck breathe. While the waves on the one side adds texture and volume, and a little extra funk.

Follow our how-to steps to rock this cool look:

What you will need:

• Purple Pack 8″ Color 2
• Purple Pack 10″ Color T1B/27
• Flat Iron
• Bonding Glue
• Stocking CapStep 1
  Starting from the nape area, layer 3 to 4 rows straight across, using 8” Purple Pack hair. Continue layering until you reach the temple area.Step 2
  To create an asymmetrical style, layer the right side up to the top, and leave the left side open as shown in the photo.Step 3
  Take Purple Pack 12” Color T1B/27 and begin layering as shown in the photo.Step 4
  Starting from the front, lay 2 to 3 rows to create bangs.
  *Be sure to create a right side part for a swooped bang style.Step 5
  For heavier volume on one side, first mark the crown position on the right side of the top, as shown. Then, layer the tracks in a circular pattern towards the crown (for even more volume, lay more tracks closely together).Step 6
  For the crown piece, take 1” of the track and apply a small amount of glue on both sides of the weft making sure the glue is on the track area only. Wait few seconds; roll up the piece so that it’s small enough to fit inside the pea-sized area at the crown. Apply glue on the base of the crown piece, and stick it inside the pea-sized area. Spread the hair in all directions, and press the center firmly.
